What we do

Programs that change trajectories.

Comprehensive support designed to develop the whole young person: mind, character, and spirit.

Program 01

Mentorship

Our mentorship program is the foundation of everything we do. We pair young people with carefully trained mentors who provide consistent, unconditional support. This is where real transformation begins.

One-on-One Mentoring

Each young person is matched with a mentor based on interests, challenges, and goals. These relationships extend beyond school and athletics into every area of life, with a strong emphasis on mental health, emotional wellness, and trauma-informed support.

  • Weekly one-on-one meetings with dedicated mentor
  • Goal-setting and progress tracking
  • Mental health support and emotional wellbeing coaching
  • Crisis support and trauma-informed care
  • 24/7 availability for urgent needs
  • Career exploration and academic planning
  • Family engagement when appropriate

Small Group Mentoring

For youth who benefit from peer connection, we offer small group sessions focused on specific challenges, interests, or development areas.

  • Peer mentoring circles (5 to 8 youth per group)
  • Thematic workshops (leadership, conflict resolution, identity)
  • Structured skill-building activities
  • Community and belonging emphasis

The Mentor Difference

Our mentors are trained, vetted, and committed to the young people they serve. They show up consistently, know the research on what works, and believe deeply in the potential of every youth they mentor.

Program 02

After-School Programs

After-school hours are critical. Our programs provide safe, structured environments where youth can learn, grow, and thrive during the hours when they're most vulnerable.

Academic Support and Mental Wellness

Dedicated tutoring and homework help in core subjects combined with mental health support. We focus on building academic confidence, emotional resilience, and overall wellbeing.

  • Subject-specific tutoring (math, English, science, social studies)
  • Homework help and study skills coaching
  • Mental health check-ins and stress management
  • Test prep and college readiness with wellness focus
  • Learning strategy development

Enrichment, Activities, and Mental Health Programming

Beyond academics, we offer programming that expands horizons, builds resilience, and supports mental health and emotional growth.

  • Arts, music, and creative expression for emotional processing
  • Leadership development and confidence building
  • Mental health awareness and wellness workshops
  • Financial literacy and life skills
  • STEM and coding programs
  • Community service and peer support projects

A Safe Haven

Most importantly, our after-school programs provide safety, consistency, and adult care during the hours when young people need it most. Healthy snacks, caring staff, and a welcoming environment.

Program 03

Youth Basketball

Basketball is the vehicle for character development. We teach discipline, teamwork, resilience, and excellence on and off the court.

Competitive Basketball

For youth who want to excel athletically. Expert coaching, skill development, and tournament competition.

  • Ages 10 to 18, organized by age and skill level
  • Professional coaching staff
  • Advanced skill development and strategy
  • Tournament participation and exposure
  • Academic support integrated into program

Recreational Basketball

For all skill levels. We emphasize fun, fundamentals, and building confidence in a welcoming environment.

  • Ages 6 and up, all skill levels welcome
  • Supportive coaching approach
  • Focus on skill-building and enjoyment
  • Community games and scrimmages
  • Flexible scheduling

More Than a Game

Basketball teaches what can't be taught in a classroom: how to work toward something difficult, how to be part of a team, how to handle pressure, and how to win and lose with grace. We use basketball as a vehicle to build mental resilience, emotional regulation, and confidence. Every young person in our basketball programs is also in our mentorship program with integrated mental health support.
